Venue Hire Terms

This page is a summary for information. It does not replace the signed booking agreement, which is the document that governs your hire. This is a working draft. Have it reviewed before the site is advertised or collects enquiries.

Bookings

A date is held once the booking amount has been paid and the booking form completed. The balance is due before the event.

Deposits

A refundable security deposit applies to most bookings. It is returned after the event subject to any deductions for damage, overrunning, or additional cleaning.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms, including which amounts are refundable and by when, are set out in the booking agreement for your event.

Use of the venue

The venue must be used only for the event described in the booking. Guest numbers must not exceed the agreed capacity, and finish times, noise restrictions, alcohol arrangements and decoration rules must be observed.

Setup and clear-out

A standard setup and clear-out allowance is included. Additional time must be booked and paid for in advance.

Damage and liability

The hirer is responsible for damage caused during the hire period, including by their guests and suppliers.
